U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel
Along with my friend retired U.S. Navy Captain First Class Gary Tabach, had the honor of meeting retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Allen B. West, a distinguished individual, combat veteran, former member of the U.S. Congress, and great defender of constitutional values.
Allen West is a man with an extraordinary history of service to his country. He represents the third generation of military personnel in his family to have been involved in combat. His career in the U.S. Army spanned 22 years, during which time he held command positions, participated in Operations Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom, and culminated as a battalion commander in the 4th Infantry Division.
After completing his military service, Allen West continued his journey as a statesman, becoming a member of the U.S. Congress from Florida. His legislative activities were aimed at supporting small businesses, reducing costs in the Department of Defense, developing energy and strengthening the competitiveness of the American economy
