Yesterday in Kharkiv there was a memorial event dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the tragedy in Drobitsky Yar - a place that has become a symbol of the terrible crime of the Holocaust.

It was here in 1941-1942 Hitler's Nazis shot about 20 thousand civilians of Kharkiv and region, the overwhelming majority of whom were Jews.

The event was attended by representatives of local authorities, in particular the director of the Department for work with public associations of Kharkiv City Council Nikita Sterin, Kharkiv Rabbi Moishe Moskovych

And after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the memorial and its territory were hit several times by Russian missiles... Thereby desecrating the memory of the lost human souls....

Drobitsky Yar, as well as Babi Yar, and many other such places - remind us of the obligation to keep the memory of the dead and to be responsible to future generations, so that this will never happen again

Memory lives as long as we honor it!
