Today, at the Central Synagogue of Ukraine, Jewish chaplain David Milman welcomed chaplains from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who visited us to learn about Jewish traditions and community life
Among the chaplains were representatives of the Orthodox, Greek Catholic, Roman Catholic, and Protestant clergy. We gave them a tour of the synagogue, explained the basics of Jewish laws and customs, prayers and holidays, as well as how the Jewish community lives in Ukraine today.
Such meetings are very important. They help us better understand one another, break down unnecessary barriers, and build genuine respect among people of different traditions who today serve Ukraine together!
