Together, we offered a prayer for peace and stability in the world!
During the Conference of European Rabbis in Krakow, I met with the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Kalman Beer, who had only recently been elected to his very important and responsible position.
It was a good meeting with a man of great wisdom and boundless devotion to the Jewish people. We had a sincere conversation about spiritual responsibility, the challenges of the times, and the subtleties of observing Jewish laws in today's difficult life.
Of course, I told him about the terrible war that Russia has unleashed in Ukraine, and we agreed to meet in Israel to discuss issues directly related to this topic...
