Today I had the honor of meeting with the Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine, Major General Ihor Plakhuta. This meeting was special for me, because the TDF is not just a part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is a symbol of unity, courage and incredible devotion to its people.
Territorial Defense Forces unite people of different ages, professions and life experience: teachers, doctors, farmers, programmers, businessmen. All of them have taken up arms to defend their homes, their loved ones and our freedom.
During the meeting, I had the opportunity to express my admiration for their dedication and courage. I blessed General Plakhuta and all the defenders who stand in defense of Ukraine and offered a prayer to the Almighty with a request - to preserve their lives and give them strength in the fight against evil...
