Today all of Ukraine celebrates the Day of Territorial Defence, and I want to express my deep gratitude and respect for your courage, bravery and indestructible spirit. You are those who in the most difficult moments have stood up to defend their land, their families and our common future.
Thousands of people of absolutely different ages, professions and life experience, from construction workers and teachers to businessmen and actors - took up arms and went to defend their country
I personally had the honor of being somewhat involved in the ranks of the TRO in Kyiv at the beginning of the invasion, as did many other members of Jewish communities throughout Ukraine
