An interesting meeting took place at the Central Synagogue of Ukraine with a delegation of students, researchers, and scholars from the Universities of Cambridge and St. Andrews

We discussed the life of the Jewish community during the war, humanitarian efforts, the challenges faced by people under constant shelling, and how Ukraine manages to maintain its spirit even in the most difficult times

We also discussed relations between Ukraine and Israel, the role of Jewish communities in strengthening ties between our countries, and the importance of international support for Ukraine

It is very important to me that future scholars, analysts, and leaders of the Western world learn about Ukraine not only from reports and news stories, but also directly from the people who live here and witness the consequences of this war every day

I thank our guests for their sincere interest in Ukraine, their insightful questions, and their desire to understand the reality in which the heroic Ukrainian people live today!
