We must not allow provocations to drive a wedge between Ukraine, Israel, and the Jewish community.
Following the Israeli Embassy’s statement regarding a video allegedly filmed during the June 21 rally, in which members of the “Brotherhood” were supposedly seen making Nazi gestures, we refrained from jumping to conclusions and met with Dmytro Korchinsky
Important: The video has no connection to this rally. It was filmed earlier, and the people in it are neither members of “Brotherhood” nor representatives of Ukrainian patriotic organizations. These are underage provocateurs who were likely used by Russia.
Dmytro Korchynskyi and “Brotherhood” are Ukrainian patriots who respect all nations, religions, and faiths. They are not anti-Semites. Dmytro Oleksandrovych has emphasized his respect for the Jewish people and Israel and appreciates the assistance provided to Ukraine by the Jewish community and Israel
I have already spoken with Israeli Ambassador Michael Brodsky and explained that the embassy was misled. I hope law enforcement will find the provocateurs.
We must not allow provocations to drive a wedge between Ukraine, Israel, and the Jewish community.
We are on the same side - the side of Light, Ukraine, and truth.
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Israel!
