I express my condolences to the families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the many injured. I have just spoken with the secretary of the Israeli ambassador to Ukraine, whose home was also damaged in these attacks. We call for a lasting and stable peace that will ensure Ukraine's security."
I am sincerely grateful to Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar for his clear and humane position, which he expressed on his X account:

As a result of Russia's massive missile and drone attack on Kyiv on the night of July 30-31, 31 people were killed, including five children.
The youngest was only two years old... Another 159 people were injured, including 16 children. These are lives destroyed, families lost, grief that cannot be described in words.
We pray for the healing of the wounded.
For comfort for the families of the deceased.
For a world in which children will never again be killed.
May the Almighty grant Ukraine protection and strength to survive these terrible trials.
And may humanity never again see such tragedies!
