Jewish Hanukkah under the slogan "We are waiting for you at home"
In the Central Synagogue of Kyiv - Brodsky there was a celebration of Jewish Hanukkah under the slogan "We are waiting for you at home".
This moment was a symbol of unity and hope amidst the war that is now ongoing in Ukraine and Israel.
The common prayer to the Almighty with the slogan of our event "Waiting for you at home", filled our hearts with faith in the miracle of the return of the captive Russian and Hamas terrorists
During the celebrations, our oldest parishioner, whose sons are now fighting for the freedom of Ukraine, lit the first Chanukah candle.
The ambassadors of Israel, Great Britain, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland attended the event, as well as many representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
May the light of Hanukkah bring us through a difficult time of hope and strength for Victory.
