At the ceremony for the Memorial Day of Ukrainians who saved Jews during World War II, I had the honor of personally speaking with and thanking the righteous Vasily Mefodievich Nazarov and the grandson of the righteous woman Sofia Yarova

I thanked them for not only saving specific people, but for helping the entire Jewish people! Risking their lives and their neighbors, they saved Jewish children no matter what!

I bless all their kin and descendants of the righteous!
