Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Saar

Today I had the honor of welcoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, Gideon Saar, who arrived in Ukraine on an official visit

At a meeting with representatives of the Jewish community in Ukraine, I delivered an appeal in which I thanked the State of Israel for its support of Ukraine, and for Israel's weakening of common enemies who are part of the axis of evil that threatens both Ukraine and Israel

I reminded the Minister that his roots are from Ukraine, as his grandmother was born here. And as a sign of respect I gave him a book about Jewish holy resting places of the righteous on the territory of Ukraine

I blessed Mr. Saar with great success in his official meetings in Ukraine. I hope that this visit will bring the relations between Israel and Ukraine to a new level.
