Itamar Ben-Gvir is also the chairman of the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party, a party that puts the land of Israel and the security of its people first. During our conversation, I saw how sincerely he strives to bring order to Israel, strengthen security, and resolutely confront threats from Hamas terrorists and other terrorist organizations.
In some circles, including in Europe, he is often called a “right-wing extremist.” But I see him first and foremost as a patriot of his people, who is doing everything possible to protect them. We all remember the horrors that took place on October 7, the most serious crime against Jews since the Holocaust. The terrorists wanted to destroy the Jews simply because they are Jews. And in this reality, it becomes especially clear how important it is to have people who take responsibility for Israel's security.
