Natan Sharansky has visited Ukraine many times before, but we look forward to welcoming him back again!
While in Israel, I met with Natan Sharansky - a former Soviet political prisoner, one of the world’s most renowned human rights activists, an Israeli statesman, the recipient of numerous international awards, and a man whose courage has inspired millions
Born in Donetsk, he endured Soviet prisons and camps simply for defending the freedom and right of Jews to return to their historic homeland. He is a man whose name has long been a symbol of the struggle for freedom, human dignity, and the right to remain faithful to one’s religion and people
I would also like to note that Natan is a great friend of Ukraine. From the very first days of the full-scale invasion, he has consistently supported Ukraine, called on Israel to cooperate more closely with Ukraine, and participated in international humanitarian initiatives
It was also an honor for me to present Natan Sharansky with a copy of my book, Between Miracle and Reality
Natan Sharansky has visited Ukraine many times before, but we look forward to welcoming him back again!
