Rabbi Aryeh Reichman

At this important European conference of rabbis in Krakow, I had a special encounter! I was delighted to meet one of my students, Rabbi Aryeh Reichman, now the Chief Rabbi of Kyrgyzstan.

Many years ago, when he was a child, I taught him how to be a righteous and upright person, and today he himself carries the light of the Torah in a country that is not so small, perfecting Jewish life and traditions. For me, as a rabbi, there is no greater joy than seeing my students continue to serve the Almighty with sincerity and love for every soul!
