Second Hanukkah candle

Yesterday at the Central Synagogue of Ukraine, I had the honor of lighting the second Hanukkah candle together with Hero of Ukraine Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klychko and Israel's Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky.

The ceremony took place as part of our annual warm Hanukkah evening, which this year was named “Light of Hope”. This light will symbolize our shared faith in the victory of good over evil

We prayed for peace and security for Ukraine and Israel, for those who are now fighting for their families and friends, and for the future of their nation

Ambassadors of different countries, military, public figures and many other guests attended the event. Together we created an atmosphere of unity and support, which is so important in these challenging times

May the light of Hanukkah bring peace, warmth and hope to every home!
