Bring the Mashiach!
On 10 Shvat 5710 (1950), the great tzaddik, the sixth Lubavitcher Rebbe (Rayatz), who was the mentor of all Jews in the Soviet Union during the darkest days of Stalin's terror and was sentenced to death for his educational activities, passed away.
But the Almighty performed a miracle-the criminal regime failed to kill Rebbe Rayatz! And in another great miracle, he left for the United States and continued his holy work. Thanks to him, tens of thousands of Jews preserved their spiritual connection with the Creator through the Torah and the commandments.
Exactly one year later, the 7th Lubavitcher Rebbe took over the leadership. And on that same day, the Rebbe set a task for our seventh generation: to complete the task of all previous generations, that is, to bring the Shechina (the divine presence) down to earth and bring the Mashiach!
