Prime Minister of Canada, leading the country from 2006 to 2015
At the IDU International Forum in Washington, DC, one of my longtime dreams came true! I had the honor of meeting a true man of legend - Stephen Harper!
This man left an incredible mark on history as Prime Minister of Canada, leading the country from 2006 to 2015. But to me and to many, he is known first and foremost as one of the greatest friends of Israel in the world today
During his premiership, Stephen Harper always remained on the side of truth and justice, supporting Israel not only with words but also with actions. He was not afraid to go against the tide and openly defended Israel's right to exist and defend itself.
He was also one of the first to openly support Ukraine, after the Russian aggression began
We discussed various topics with him, mostly related to the war in Ukraine. This meeting reminded me once again how important are people who inspire others by their example
I blessed him and thanked him for all he has done for Israel, Ukraine and the World!
