May the Almighty bless the President of Ukraine, its people, and all who stand on the side of Light today!
Together with rabbis from Ukrainian cities and representatives of Jewish communities, we met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the occasion of Passover
Among those present was a Jewish military chaplain and Heroic Defender of Ukraine, a member of our “Hasid” community
The President congratulated everyone on the holiday and very aptly said that Passover is a holiday of freedom. And today, this meaning is felt particularly keenly!
In my speech, I emphasized that we are living in a time of great confrontation between good and evil. And just as during Passover the people of Israel went from slavery to freedom, so too will the people of Ukraine surely achieve their Victory! For I am sincerely convinced: the war will end, Ukraine will prevail, and with G-d's help, every regime that brings evil and destruction will fall!
The Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine also presented the President with over 40 Jewish books and gifted him a Torah translated into Ukrainian.
