I am sure that there are no coincidences, and against the background of the news about the possible decision of the US President on tough sanctions for russia, on the same day, he writes a letter to the great Jewish righteous man, exactly on the day when the Rebbe went to the World of Truth
And the letter itself, written in very “human” language. He recalls how he came to Ogel (the Rebbe's resting place) on the anniversary of the October 7 terrorist attacks. How he looked there not for an answer, but for resistance. And he found it! We all saw how after that visit - there were great miracles for him
His words that the Rebbe's legacy is the path that leads to peace - does not sound like political rhetoric. It is a direct recognition of the tremendous contribution of the life of this World that the Rebbe has made. A world that is now falling apart, but thanks to the Rebbe's legacy, remains whole
By the way, the Lubavitcher Rebbe himself was born in Ukraine, in the heroic city of Mykolayiv. And his father was a rabbi in Dnipro (then Yekaterinoslav).
