Jewish religious higher education institution

What a joy! We have built the first Jewish religious higher education institution in independent Ukraine - a yeshiva located in the charming Jewish town of Anatevka!

This major project was made possible solely thanks to the support of a patron from abroad who donated his funds for the sake of advancing education and spirituality in Ukraine. And the fact that we managed to build this yeshiva is a Great Miracle in and of itself!

At the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, when numerous columns of enemy tanks were advancing on Kyiv, when the sounds of artillery and missiles did not cease for a single moment, and we did not know if we would even survive, I - together with the residents and refugees of Anatevka - laid the cornerstone of this yeshiva!

I did this, remembering the words of our sages that studying the Torah safeguards and protects. That is precisely why, in these difficult times, constant Torah study, observance of the commandments, and service to the Almighty hold special significance for the blessing, spiritual strength, and protection of Ukraine

It is in yeshivas like this that children are shaped into future rabbis, spiritual leaders, and teachers who dedicate their lives to the Torah and to serving others. The new complex in Anatevka is built in a modern style and equipped to the highest standards. It features spacious classrooms, comfortable dormitories, a large kosher kitchen, a dining hall, a library, recreational areas, a swimming pool, and a secure shelter so that students can study safely even during shelling. Children from all over Europe will study here

The opening was attended by representatives of Ukraine’s top leadership, chief rabbis of Ukrainian cities, as well as spiritual leaders from many countries around the world

Despite the war and all the difficulties, we are not only preserving Jewish life in Ukraine - we are building its future, living in peace, friendship, and mutual respect with the Ukrainian people

May thousands of students graduate from this yeshiva, bringing the light of the Torah, faith, and goodness to Ukraine and the entire world!
