Today, 84-year-old Yevgen Bonder, a member of the Jewish community in Kherson, passed away. A few days ago, he was seriously wounded by russian shelling in Kherson.
Shrapnel from russian ammunition hit his liver and wounded his arm, requiring amputation. Doctors fought to save Yevgen's life, but were unable to do so.
This is the kind of “denazification” that the russian army has been carrying out for almost four years in a row on Ukrainian territory, killing not only Ukrainians but also people of other nationalities who simply live here peacefully.
The photo shows Yevgen Bonder himself in a beige raincoat. He survived World War II and Hitler's Nazis, who deliberately sought out and killed Jews... but he did not survive the russian “liberators”...
